Things I Love
Do you feel the images are successful?
I do feel as though these images are successful. They capture a person, place, and thing that I absolutely love in the best light I was capable of putting it in. Looking at them makes me happy, and if that doesn't represent success in this assignments guidelines I don't know what does.
How did you bring your viewer the emotional attachment you have to the subject?
The pictures of place and thing showcase beautiful aspects of nature. By showcasing its beauty in a composistionaly appealing way and focusing on one element they are able to appreciate the earth the same way I do. For the picture of my niece, her happiness toward the activity in radiant and if you can look at that and not smile you. are. wrong.
If you were someone's favorite person, how would you want to be photographed?
I would want to be photographed in my natural habitat. Not staged or placed in a particular manner but doing something I love, surrounded by people I love, and natural.

Double Exposure
Why did you select to combine the images you chose?
Both of these photos had face like features that I thought would compliment each other well. Along with this, they were both on the more gloomy and sultry side as opposed to cheery and bright.
What message or mood is conveyed by their combination?
The combination of these photos represent how people are not always who they seem to be. That a guise is often unknown and everywhere. Overall, a eerie mood sweeps the image.
What part(s) of your image do you feel were particularly successful? Why?
The combination of the spray paint face and abby is most successful in my eyes. The composition of both photos allow for me to line up their faces and create an creepy combination of the two. Both photos were taken with the subject in the right third and because of this, with changes in opaqueness, they aline perfectly.
What would you like to manipulate further/touch-up?
If I could manipulate or touch up this photo more I would try to find better purpose for the arm. While I think it adds to the mood, I do not think it does so in the best way. Due to the fade needed to blend the photos the arm seems almost separate from the face and I would prefer it to be more cohesive.
